Stuttering Activities Pacing and Rate of Speech Practice

Are you looking for fluency activities that you can grab and go? Then this resource is perfect for you!  It’s filled with no-prep fluency pacing/rate of speech activities for practicing pacing at the word, phrase, sentence, and paragraph levels for treating fluency disorders in children in grades 1-5. I don’t know about you, but I am always in need of new therapy ideas. The activity pages are perfect for co-treats or great on their own. I designed these activities for the days when you need a quick and an easy way to practice using fluency strategies in therapy.

What’s Included?

•30 stimulus cards for practicing pacing at the word, phrase, and sentence levels ordered by sentence length and number of pauses.

•28 stimulus cards for practicing pacing at the paragraph level.

•Have your students practice pacing by pausing at each slash mark.

•A blank template is also included! Your students can write their own stories and then mark where they should pause by drawing slash marks in between the words.

These cards can be printed on card stock, cut in half, and laminated for use.
