Welcome to our blog!
We’re so happy you’re here! We love sharing low prep and FUN therapy ideas, engaging resources and fun stuff with other therapists and educators.
MEET NICOLE
I was born and raised in central Texas and currently live in Austin. Our two boys and dog keep my husband and I busy. If we’re not doing homework, you can find us at the baseball field, cheering on the Longhorns, or at one of our favorite local restaurants!
I love being a speech therapist. I decided to become an SLP in high school after my mom encouraged me to volunteer at a nearby hospital, and the rest is history.
I currently work in the school setting. I spent the first ten years of my career working with preschool students and had a blast. An opportunity presented itself several years ago, so I decided to make the move the to elementary. I’m so lucky to have the ability to work at one of the campuses my own children attend!
I also have a Teachers Pay Teachers store where I create resources for other therapists and educators!
You can find us on Instagram and Facebook where we share some of our favorite therapy ideas, materials, and resources as well as a little peak into our worlds! We hope you stop by!

MEET EMILY
I was also born and raised in a small town in central Texas. I currently live in Austin (right down the road from Nicole!) I’m a proud mom to a fun energetic little boy. He keeps most of my days filled with running around, pushing cars, and playing toys. If we’re not hanging out at home, you can find us cheering on my nephews at their little league games, going for walks, or meeting up at a park or restaurant with friends!
I love being an occupational therapist. I decided to become an OT after my first semester in college. Nicole was doing a clinical rotation at a local school and working alongside both physical and occupational therapists. Upon her suggestion, I started researching both OT and PT. I fell in love with the occupational therapy profession and haven’t looked back!
I currently work in the school setting. I spent the first seven years of my career working in a private clinic that I’m able to contract with on a very part time basis. A few years ago, a position opened in Nicole’s school district, and I was very lucky to get the position. Being an OT in the educational setting is definitely much different than the clinical setting, and I feel like I am learning something new (and becoming a better school based OT) each day! I am so lucky to be surrounded by so many different professionals that each bring their unique experiences and expertise to the team. I’m also lucky to be close by to my son and nephews as they go through school!
We’re so glad you stopped by and hope you enjoy following along on our journey in our lives as school therapists! I also have a Teachers Pay Teachers store where I create resources for other therapists and educators!
